French Industrial Production Rose MOre than Expected in November
French industrial production rose 2.2% month over month in November, more than expected with October revised up to -0.1% month over month from -0.2% month over month reported initially. Manufacturing production rose 2.3% month over month, after falling -0.6% month over month in the previous month. Annual rates jumped to 1.8% from -1.8% for the overall production figure and to 1.4% from -1.5% in the manufacturing reading. Very strong numbers, which tie in with the improvement in French confidence readings and confirm that the French economy is picking up and that the overall Eurozone recovery is relatively broad now.
